Lucky Cat Lounge. 9/8/05
Back in August, my friend and fellow artist Lola Ramona lost nearly all her worldly goods to a faulty sprinkler system. Me and A.V. Phibes decided to throw her a benifit.
Enter a cast of magical and generous babes- Veronica Varlow, Nasty Canasta, Tabitha Ray, Dottie Lux, and The World Famous *BOB*. We had the venue booked, the buttons made, and the fliers distributed around town. Then, that damn hurricane hit, and New Orleans got a whole lot wetter.
The Save Lola benifit raised near a thousand dollers that night- $270 for the Red Cross to help Hurricane Katrina.

Jigsaw Gallery. 2/26/05
After a three year stint of black and white, I decided it was time to journey to the land of colour. Jigsaw Gallery (526 E 11th St, btw A and B) let me throw a goodbye party to my favorite medium.
Special thanks to Jen Dziura, my merch girl, Lady J, my gogo dancer, Chris Lamb, the valient bouncer, and my two amazing event photographers: Gary Winter and Steve Prue. And of course, to the kind gentlemen who bought work. Now for some pictures.

Molly Crabapple's art show was perhaps the most hoppin' art opening I have ever attended. The place was small, but pretty consistently packed with a rotating array of people. There was a go-go dancer, a bouncer who looked like Bugsy Seigel, various art-star cameos, and there was almost a brawl. A++ Would attend again!
